Additional audio channels make multilingual events possible: interpreters translate live into other languages, with multiple languages running in parallel on their own channels. Participants simply select their language channel and hear the translation in real time — just like with a conference headset on-site. The "Slow down" button lets participants discreetly ask speakers to reduce their pace. Everything runs directly in BigBlueButton, without any additional program or app.

Full-featured Office documents directly in BigBlueButton: moderators create a new Word, Excel, or PowerPoint document or upload an existing file — including OpenDocument formats. All participants edit simultaneously in real time, embedded in the meeting or in their own tab; with "Show to everyone," even those joining later immediately see the current document. At the end, the original or a fresh PDF can be downloaded. All of this runs GDPR-friendly on think modular's own infrastructure.

Spoken words appear live as AI-powered captions in the meeting — helpful for accessibility, noisy environments, or non-native speakers. In "Auto" mode, the language is automatically detected and translated on request (e.g., German ⇄ English) — so everyone can follow along in their preferred language. The Live Transcription panel keeps the transcript clearly visible for everyone. Speech recognition is hosted on servers in the EU; no setup is required for participants.

Play music, podcasts, interviews, or audio samples directly in the meeting — without the detour of screen sharing. Moderators upload the audio file via the sidebar and press play; playback runs in sync for all participants, so everyone hears the same point at the same time. Nothing needs to be set up for participants.

Participants upload images during the meeting — tasks, sketches, photos, or group results — and preview them before sending. The presenter sees all submissions arrive live in a clearly organized gallery: filter by person, view details, open images in full size, or generate a printable overview of all submissions. Even participants who have already left the meeting remain visible with their submissions.

What sticks from the training? With the Key Takeaways activity, participants formulate their most important insights in their own words at the end of a session—and then vote on the group's contributions. Moderators determine in advance how many takeaways will be collected and how much time is allocated for writing and voting. This creates a shared conclusion in just a few minutes, which anchors what has been learned and provides valuable feedback for trainers—directly in BigBlueButton, without the need for any additional tools.

The Learning Challenge brings quiz excitement into the meeting: Moderators prepare their own knowledge questions along with the answers and set a time limit – from a quick one-minute round to a comprehensive challenge. Once started, participants compete directly in the meeting and answer the questions against the clock. Ideal as an energizing warm-up, a review after a learning unit, or a knowledge check at the end – entirely without an external quiz tool and without the need to switch applications.
